Thinking about Hunt on what would have been his 75th birthday. I’m glad Funny Boy helped people recognize his talent in performing, collaborating, and teaching. I hope readers also recognize his mind-blowing ability to to take what life threw at him and make it work. Puppetry wasn’t originally his dream, but he leaned into it and made a life of it. Ditto his sexuality. Even death to him was “a whole new adventure.”
